Today I’d like to introduce you to a talented new writer and her fabulous novel.
When I first heard of Rebecca Hamilton, I was amazed at how much buzz her upcoming novel had created. Rebecca’s engaging personality and commitment to the cause (I have yet to determine if she actually sleeps!) helped her establish a strong presence in the social media world that was working wonders in getting the word out there, and it wasn’t all hype. The Forever Girl: Sophia's Journey surpasses all expectations.
The Forever Girl: Sophia's Journey:
Sophia Parsons’ family has skeletons, but they aren’t in their graves...
Solving the mystery of an ancestor’s hanging might silence the clashing whispers in Sophia's mind, but the cult in her town and the supernaturals who secretly reside there are determined to silence her first.
As Sophia unknowingly crosses the line into an elemental world full of vampire-like creatures, shapeshifters, and supernatural grim reapers, she meets Charles, a man who becomes both lover and ally.
But can she trust him?
It’s not until someone nearly kills Sophia that she realizes the only way to unveil the source of her family's curse: abandon her faith or abandon her humanity. If she wants to survive, she must accept who she is, perform dark magic, and fight to the death for her freedom.

“Rebecca Hamilton writes Paranormal Fantasy, Horror, and Literary Fiction. She lives in Florida with her husband and three kids, along with multiple writing personalities that range from morbid to literary. She enjoys dancing with her kids to television show theme songs and would love the beach if it weren’t for the sand. Having a child diagnosed with autism has inspired her to illuminate the world through the eyes of characters who see things differently.”

My Five-Star Review of The Forever Girl: Sophia's Journey:
“In her debut novel, Rebecca Hamilton displays a sophistication and style far beyond that of many seasoned authors. Her tale keeps the twists and turns coming, all the while deftly exposing the intricacies and layers of Sophia's new world. It has many of the ingredients that genre fans demand--the innocent and powerful female, the dark and mysterious male, forbidden love, and truths-within-truths interwoven with half-lies and deceptions, among them--yet, instead of feeling formulaic or contrived, it's crisp and energetic. The Forever Girl: Sophia's Journey is a truly enjoyable read.”
Please note: Rebecca is currently working on the second book in the Forever Girl series, Come, the Dark: Cordovae's Journey, which is scheduled for a 2013 release. A related novel, Her Sweetest Downfall: Ophelia’s Journey will be released this summer.
