Today, I'm going to share some amazing indie recommendations.
Prior to this year, I was able to count the number of indie authors I was familiar with on one hand--most notably, Kerri Hawkins of Blood Legacy fame and the Elfquest team of Wendy & Richard Pini.
Thankfully, my own foray into the world of publishing has exposed me to an entire galaxy of great new authors! As with so many things we love doing, there simply isn't enough time to read all the tantalizing books I see, but I do make a concerted effort to read as often as possible--and I'm reading more new authors than ever.
Below are twenty authors I highly recommend--my Indie Author Hall of Fame, if you will. I'm too lazy to write a snippet about each, but feel free to read my reviews on Goodreads or Shelfari to see exactly what I thought of each one.
Click each image to be transported to its Amazon product page.
Now, what's a celebration of great authors without a glimpse into the future? Woefully inadequate, that's what. To that end, here are three authors high on my TBR list. Based upon what I hear from friends and colleagues, I fully expect each one to graduate to the list above!
Feel free to let me know what you think of my recommendations. Comment below for a final opportunity to enter the contest.
Happy reading and thank you for stopping by during The Indie-Pendence Week Blog Hop. Contest winner announced tomorrow!
